Hey guys, I've been feeling that geocaching itch pretty strong lately and it got me thinking about a project I had been saving up for. Since I first made my personal travel bug, I've really wanted to make a GXNomad "coin" of my Camaro. I had a large bottle in my room that I would throw some change in or a couple dollars if it was loose in my pocket, trying to save enough to have the coins have their own icon.

Well, last Thursday, we had an electrical fire at our house. Everyone was fine, and most of the damage was from smoke, but we needed some quick cash for hotel rooms for a few nights while we looked for a place to stay. So I headed to the nearest coinstar and spent almost an hour counting it all. We have moved in with my wife's parents :( for now.

Anyway, I recently found out about this site called indegogo.com. Which allows people to contribute money towards a "campaign" in exchange for perks. This way, I can still get the coins made and can share them with some fellow cachers.

Check it out.
Thanks.

Wow! That could have been a real fiasco if a hostile homeowner had intervened!
